It's really hard when a relationship ends, those feelings don't just go away. The way you described everything at the least it sounds like you two need a break. It may help you find out that you were meant to be together or if there is someone better fit for you. It would be hard but it will save the daily or weekly heartache of going back and forth and until one or both of you truly make up your mind that you want to be with each other.
